No Account Required
Inqita does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
Information Inqita Uses
Inqita may use and store the following information on your device:
- Schedules, names, start times, end times, selected days, and selected phone modes.
- Prayer-time settings, selected prayers, quiet-window duration, and selected phone modes.
- Saved place, location, timezone, source, recommended calculation settings, Hijri correction/status, and cached calendar details used for prayer times.
- A temporary searched location while you preview prayer times for another city; this preview does not replace the saved current location.
- Up to five recently selected city searches, stored locally for quick reuse. Typed search queries and full result lists are not kept as search history.
- Permission status, app settings, battery/background status, and App Health diagnostics.
- Issue history, error details, and behavior diagnostics that help diagnose notification, prayer loading, offline cache, location refresh, calculation-setting, Hijri authority, Qibla, localization, ad-serving, or mode-change problems.
- Compass or sensor readings used on the device for Qibla-related features, when available.
How Information Is Used
We use app information to:
- Switch the phone between ring, vibrate, and silent mode at scheduled times.
- Fetch, cache, and display prayer times and manage prayer quiet windows.
- Select mapped recommended prayer methods, Asr rules, and high-latitude rules for the saved country or region.
- Display Hijri dates with calculated, cached, corrected, or verified authority status where available.
- Temporarily preview prayer times for a searched city without replacing the saved current location.
- Offer a small, locally stored list of recently selected city searches that you can clear in the app.
- Show Qibla direction and location-based prayer information.
- Show notifications for schedule and prayer automation events.
- Detect reliability issues such as missed alarms or phone-mode mismatches.
- Provide support when you choose to share diagnostic information with us.
Permissions
Inqita may ask for Android permissions that are needed for the app to work:
- Notification permission to show schedule and prayer alerts.
- Location permission to fetch local prayer times and timezone details.
- Exact alarm permission to trigger automation at the correct time.
- Do Not Disturb policy access to support true silent mode on Android.
- Audio settings access to change ring, vibrate, and silent modes.
- Boot completion access to reschedule alarms after device restart.
- Battery optimization or background activity settings, where Android exposes them, to help future alarms and automation remain reliable.
Location and reverse-geocoding features may use Android location services or platform geocoding services to turn coordinates into a city, country, or timezone. Inqita uses that information for app features such as prayer times and location display. The app may contact trusted prayer-time providers, such as AlAdhan and public official sources where available, to fetch monthly prayer calendars for your location.
Diagnostics And Support
Inqita includes an App Health and diagnostics feature. These diagnostics help identify permission, alarm, notification, prayer loading, offline cache, location refresh, recommended calculation, Hijri authority, Qibla, localization, battery/background restriction, and phone-mode problems on different Android devices. They are stored locally and are not sent to us automatically by default. If you contact support and choose to share logs, screenshots, or reports, we use that information to help with your request and improve app reliability.
Prayer-Time Sources And Cache
Inqita may fetch prayer-time calendars from trusted sources such as official public services where available and AlAdhan for mapped country methods. The app prepares prayer times for the current date and up to 30 days before and after it on your device. When trusted data is temporarily unavailable, local calculation may keep the prayer screen and automation working until trusted data refreshes.
Hijri Dates
Inqita may use calculated Hijri dates, local correction, cached status, and verified authority records where available. Hijri announcements can differ by country or community, especially around Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Dhu al-Hijjah. The app does not treat a region as officially confirmed unless a verified source is available.
Languages And Time Format
Inqita includes 15 bundled app languages. Interface translations do not require an online translation service. Clock displays follow the device's 12-hour or 24-hour preference.
Advertising
Inqita may show ads through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its partners may collect or receive information such as device identifiers, app interaction data, diagnostics, approximate location, and consent choices according to Google's policies.
Where required, Google consent tools may ask for your advertising choices before ads are loaded.
If the app cannot reach the internet, ads may not load.
Website Hosting And Email
This website and email routing may be provided through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, DNS traffic, and security events to provide hosting, routing, and protection services.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed to operate the app, respond to your support request, comply with legal requirements, protect the app, or use service providers such as Google Mobile Ads and Cloudflare.
Data Retention And Deletion
Most Inqita app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app. Support emails and diagnostic reports you choose to send may be kept as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain records, and improve the app. If you want your support messages deleted, contact privacy@inqita.com.
Your Choices
You can manage app permissions in Android Settings. Revoking permissions may limit notifications, prayer-time accuracy, exact alarms, or true silent mode.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled through the app, website, and support channels. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Inqita is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, website, laws, or services change. The updated date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
